The IKON BMX Carbon Rear Rim-20×1 1/8″ is a beautifully engineered, high-end rim. Uses a uni-directional Toray T700 carbon fiber weave for optimal strength. This rim has a V-brake compatible braking surface. As such it is intended to be used as a rear rim. It is also tubeless ready, so if youd like to save even more weight and ditch the tubes you have the option. It will require a few items to make the conversion, such as a special valve, sealant rim tape, and liquid sealer….and dont forget the tubeless specific tires. So if you are serious about saving as much weight as possible, and lets be honest, if you werent you wouldnt be looking at this rim right now, then this is the rim for you.
