These forks have an internal thread for the top cap bolt to screw into, with the actual cap having the Avian logo etched into it. Both are included with the fork.

Important Torque Spec Information

Please use a torque wrench when installing this fork onto the bike. If the stems side bolts are over-tightened, you run the risk of crushing/damaging the carbon steerer tube which can lead to the product failing. Further, the forks integrated locking system has an alloy bolt/head, so if its over-tightened then you will strip it. Tighten between 4-5Nm is fine, but do not exceed 5.5Nm.

Compatibility

The Versus Youth Fork is compatible with BMX frames that have both 1″ and 1-1/8″ head-tubes. Headset spec will be determined by your frame manufacturer, but you can always e-mail us for advice. Rider weight limit for this fork is 115lbs.
